Shoe-La-La for the American Heart Association

Students at St. Matthews School held the 1st annual Shoe-La-La for the American Heart Association and raised more than $125. Participating students decorated high heel shoes, which were then displayed in the hallway by the library, and students paid 25-cents to cast a vote for the best shoe. Sixth grader Elizabeth Johnson took First Place for Superman. Fourth grader James Johnson won Second Place for Army Tank and Megan Pogorzelski won Third Place for Splish Splash.

The event was held in conjunction with the annual Jump Rope for Heart, which raised more than $6,700.
